One student learned more about the author Mieko Kawakami and her work in her book "Breasts and Eggs" talking about the struggles women endure in society. This book mainly focuses on the strict culture East Asian women have to follow due to the standards set by society. Mieko Kawakami illustrates her books by writing about her feelings she holds inside regarding the standards women have to follow set by society.
